[1] אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל רְאוּבֵן שִׁמְעוֹן לֵוִי וִיהוּדָה יִשָׂשכָר וּזְבֻלוּן ׃

[1] Con trai của Y-sơ-ra-ên là Ru-bên, Si-mê-ôn, Lê-vi, Giu-đa, Y-sa-ca, Sa-bu-lôn,
[1] These were the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah; Issachar and Zebulun;

[2] דָּן יוֹסֵף וּבִנְיָמִן נַפְתָּלִי גָּד וְאָשֵׁר ׃ ס

[2] Ðan, Giô-sép, Bên-gia-min, Nép-ta-li, Gát, và A-se.

[3] בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה עֵר וְאוֹנָן וְשֵׁלָה שְׁלוֹשָׁה נוֹלַד לוֹ מִבַּת־שׁוּעַ הַכְּנַעֲנִית וַיְהִי עֵר בְּכוֹר יְהוּדָה רַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה וַיְמִיתֵהוּ ׃ ס

[3] Con trai của Giu-đa là Ê-rơ, Ô-nan, và Sê-la. Ba người nầy Giu-đa sanh ra bởi con gái Su-a, người Ca-na-an. Ê-rơ, con cả của Giu-đa, làm sự dữ trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, nên Ngài giết nó đi.
[3] The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bathshua, a Canaanite woman. Er, Judah’s firstborn, displeased the LORD, so the LORD killed him.

[4] וְתָמָר כַּלָּתוֹ יָלְדָה לּוֹ אֶת־פֶּרֶץ וְאֶת־זָרַח כָּל־בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה חֲמִשָּׁה ׃ ס

[4] Ta-ma, là dâu của Giu-đa, sanh cho người Phê-rết và Xê-rách. Tổng cộng các con của Giu-đa được năm người.
[4] Tamar, Judah’s daughter-in-law, bore to him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.

[5] בְּנֵי־פֶרֶץ חֶצְרוֹן וְחָמוּל ׃ ס

[5] The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.

[6] וּבְנֵי זֶרַח זִמְרִי וְאֵיתָן וְהֵימָן וְכַלְכֹּל וָדָרַע כֻּלָּם חֲמִשָּׁה ׃ ס

[6] Con trai của Xê-rách là Xim-ri, Ê-than, Hê-man, Canh-côn, và Ða-ra, cộng là năm người.
[6] The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Kalkol, Dara — five in all.

[7] וּבְנֵי כַּרְמִי עָכָר עוֹכֵר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר מָעַל בַּחֵרֶם ׃ ס

[7] The son of Carmi: Achan, who brought the disaster on Israel when he stole what was devoted to God.

[8] וּבְנֵי אֵיתָן עֲזַרְיָה ׃

[8] The son of Ethan: Azariah.

[9] וּבְנֵי חֶצְרוֹן אֲשֶׁר נוֹלַד־לוֹ אֶת־יְרַחְמְאֵל וְאֶת־רָם וְאֶת־כְּלוּבָי ׃

[9] Con trai Hết-rôn sanh ra là Giê-rác-mê-en, Ram, và Kê-lu-bai.
[9] The sons born to Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.

[10] וְרָם הוֹלִיד אֶת־עַמִּינָדָב וְעַמִּינָדָב הוֹלִיד אֶת־נַחְשׁוֹן נְשִׂיא בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה ׃

[10] Ram sanh ra A-mi-na-đáp, A-mi-na-đáp sanh Na-ha-sôn, làm quan trưởng của người Giu-đa.
[10] Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, the tribal chief of Judah.

[11] Na-ha-sôn sanh Sanh-ma,
[11] Nahshon was the father of Salma, and Salma was the father of Boaz.

[12] וּבֹעַז הוֹלִיד אֶת־עוֹבֵד וְעוֹבֵד הוֹלִיד אֶת־יִשָׁי ׃

[12] Sanh-ma sanh Bô-ô, Bô-ô sanh Ô-bết, Ô-bết sanh Y-sai.
[12] Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse.

[13] וְאִישַׁי הוֹלִיד אֶת־בְּכֹרוֹ אֶת־אֱלִיאָב וַאֲבִינָדָב הַשֵּׁנִי וְשִׁמְעָא הַשְּׁלִישִׁי ׃

[13] Y-sai sanh con đầu lòng là Ê-li-áp, con thứ nhì là A-bi-na-đáp, thứ ba là Si-mê-a,
[13] Jesse was the father of Eliab, his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,

[14] נְתַנְאֵל הָרְבִיעִי רַדַּי הַחֲמִישִׁי ׃

[14] thứ tư là Na-tha-na-ên, thứ năm là Ra-đai,
[14] Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,

[15] אֹצֶם הַשִּׁשִּׁי דָּוִיד הַשְּׁבִעִי ׃

[15] thứ sáu là Ô-xem, thứ bảy là Ða-vít.
[15] Ozem sixth, David seventh.

[16] וְאַחְיֹתֵיהֶם צְרוּיָה וַאֲבִיגָיִל וּבְנֵי צְרוּיָה אַבְשַׁי וְיוֹאָב וַעֲשָׂה־אֵל שְׁלֹשָׁה ׃

[16] Còn Xê-ru-gia và A-bi-ga-in là chị em của những người ấy. Xê-ru-gia có ba con là A-bi-sai, Giô-áp, và A-xa-ên.
[16] Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiah’s three sons were Abshai, Joab, and Asahel.

[17] A-bi-ga-in sanh A-ma-sa; cha của A-ma-sa là Giê-the, người Ích-ma-ên.
[17] Abigail bore Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.

[18] וְכָלֵב בֶּן־חֶצְרוֹן הוֹלִיד אֶת־עֲזוּבָה אִשָּׁה וְאֶת־יְרִיעוֹת וְאֵלֶּה בָנֶיהָ יֵשֶׁר וְשׁוֹבָב וְאַרְדּוֹן ׃

[18] Ca-lép, con của Hết-rôn, lấy vợ, là A-xu-ba, với Giê-ri-ốt, rồi sanh con là Giê-se, Sô-báp, và Aït-đôn.
[18] Caleb son of Hezron fathered sons by his wife Azubah (also known as Jerioth). Her sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

[19] וַתָּמָת עֲזוּבָה וַיִּקַּח־לוֹ כָלֵב אֶת־אֶפְרָת וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת־חוּר ׃

[19] A-xu-ba qua đời, thì Ca-lép lấy Ê-phơ-rát; nàng sanh Hu-rơ cho người.
[19] When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.

[20] וְחוּר הוֹלִיד אֶת־אוּרִי וְאוּרִי הוֹלִיד אֶת־בְּצַלְאֵל ׃ ס

[20] Hu-rơ sanh U-ri, U-ri sanh ra Bết-sa-lê-ên.
[20] Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.

[21] וְאַחַר בָּא חֶצְרוֹן אֶל־בַּת־מָכִיר אֲבִי גִלְעָד וְהוּא לְקָחָהּ וְהוּא בֶּן־שִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת־שְׂגוּב ׃

[21] Sau khi ấy, Hết-rôn đã được sáu mươi tuổi, bèn cưới con gái của Ma-ki, là cha của Ga-la-át, mà làm vợ; người năm cùng nàng, nàng sanh được Sê-gúp.
[21] Later Hezron had sexual relations with the daughter of Makir, the father of Gilead. (He had married her when he was sixty years old.) She bore him Segub.

[22] וּשְׂגוּב הוֹלִיד אֶת־יָאִיר וַיְהִי־לוֹ עֶשְׂרִים וְשָׁלוֹשׁ עָרִים בְּאֶרֶץ הַגִּלְעָד ׃

[22] Sê-gúp sanh Giai-rơ, người nầy được hai mươi ba thành trong xứ Ga-la-át.
[22] Segub was the father of Jair, who owned twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

[23] וַיִּקַּח גְּשׁוּר־וַאֲרָם אֶת־חַוֹּת יָאִיר מֵאִתָּם אֶת־קְנָת וְאֶת־בְּנֹתֶיהָ שִׁשִּׁים עִיר כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי מָכִיר אֲבִי־גִלְעָד ׃

[23] Dân Ghe-su-rơ và dân Sy-ri chiếm lấy những thành Giai-rơ và Kê-nát, luôn với các hương thôn của địa hạt nó, cộng là sáu mươi thành. Những người ấy đều là con cháu Ma-ki, cha Ga-la-át.
[23] (Geshur and Aram captured the towns of Jair, along with Kenath and its sixty surrounding towns.) All these were descendants of Makir, the father of Gilead.

[24] וְאַחַר מוֹת־חֶצְרוֹן בְּכָלֵב אֶפְרָתָה וְאֵשֶׁת חֶצְרוֹן אֲבִיָּה וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת־אַשְׁחוּר אֲבִי תְקוֹעַ ׃

[24] Sau khi Hết-rôn qua đời tại Ca-lép Ép-ra-tha rồi, thì vợ người là A-bi-gia, sanh cho người A-su-rơ, là cha của Thê-cô-a.
[24] After Hezron’s death, Caleb had sexual relations with Ephrath, his father Hezron’s widow, and she bore to him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

[25] וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־יְרַחְמְאֵל בְּכוֹר חֶצְרוֹן הַבְּכוֹר רָם וּבוּנָה וָאֹרֶן וָאֹצֶם אֲחִיָּה ׃

[25] Giê-rác-mê-ên, con trưởng nam của Hết-rôn, sanh Ram, là con đầu lòng, kế đến Bu-na, Ô-ren, Ô-xem, và A-hi-gia.
[25] The sons of Jerahmeel, Hezron’s firstborn, were Ram, the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

[26] וַתְּהִי אִשָּׁה אַחֶרֶת לִירַחְמְאֵל וּשְׁמָהּ עֲטָרָה הִיא אֵם אוֹנָם ׃ ס

[26] Giê-rác-mê-ên lại lấy vợ khác, tên là A-ta-ra, mẹ của Ô-nam.
[26] Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah; she was Onam’s mother.

[27] וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־רָם בְּכוֹר יְרַחְמְאֵל מַעַץ וְיָמִין וָעֵקֶר ׃

[27] Con trai của Ram, con trưởng nam của Giê-rác-mê-ên, là Ma-ách, Gia-min, và Ê-ke.
[27] The sons of Ram, Jerahmeel’s firstborn, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

[28] וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־אוֹנָם שַׁמַּי וְיָדָע וּבְנֵי שַׁמַּי נָדָב וַאֲבִישׁוּר ׃

[28] Con trai của Ô-nam là Sa-mai và Gia-đa. Con trai của Sa-mai, là Na-đáp và A-bi-su.
[28] The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

[29] וְשֵׁם אֵשֶׁת אֲבִישׁוּר אֲבִיהָיִל וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת־אַחְבָּן וְאֶת־מוֹלִיד ׃

[29] Tên vợ của A-bi-su là A-bi-hai; nàng sanh cho người Aïc-ban và Mô-lít.
[29] Abishur’s wife was Abihail, who bore him Ahban and Molid.

[30] וּבְנֵי נָדָב סֶלֶד וְאַפָּיִם וַיָּמָת סֶלֶד לֹא בָנִים ׃ ס

[30] Con trai của Na-đáp là Sê-le và Áp-ba-im. Nhưng Sê-le qua đời, không có con.
[30] The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. (Seled died without having sons.)

[31] וּבְנֵי אַפַּיִם יִשְׁעִי וּבְנֵי יִשְׁעִי שֵׁשָׁן וּבְנֵי שֵׁשָׁן אַחְלָי ׃

[31] Con trai của Áp-ba-im là Di-si. Con trai của Di-si là Sê-san. Con trai của Sê-san là Aïc-lai.
[31] The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.

[32] וּבְנֵי יָדָע אֲחִי שַׁמַּי יֶתֶר וְיוֹנָתָן וַיָּמָת יֶתֶר לֹא בָנִים ׃ ס

[32] Con trai của Gia-đa, em Sa-mai, là Giê-the và Giô-na-than; Giê-the qua đời, không có con.
[32] The sons of Jada, Shammai’s brother: Jether and Jonathan. (Jether died without having sons.)

[33] וּבְנֵי יוֹנָתָן פֶּלֶת וְזָזָא אֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי יְרַחְמְאֵל ׃

[33] The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.

[34] וְלֹא־הָיָה לְשֵׁשָׁן בָּנִים כִּי אִם־בָּנוֹת וּלְשֵׁשָׁן עֶבֶד מִצְרִי וּשְׁמוֹ יַרְחָע ׃

[34] Vả, Sê-san không con trai, song có con gái; cũng có một đứa tôi tớ Ê-díp-tô, lên là Gia-ra.
[34] Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. Sheshan had an Egyptian servant named Jarha.

[35] וַיִּתֵּן שֵׁשָׁן אֶת־בִּתּוֹ לְיַרְחָע עַבְדּוֹ לְאִשָּׁה וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת־עַתָּי ׃

[35] Sê-san gả con gái mình cho nó; nàng sanh Aït-tai cho người.
[35] Sheshan gave his daughter to his servant Jarha as a wife; she bore him Attai.

[36] וְעַתַּי הֹלִיד אֶת־נָתָן וְנָתָן הוֹלִיד אֶת־זָבָד ׃

[36] Aït-tai sanh Na-than, Na-than sanh Xa-bát,
[36] Attai was the father of Nathan, and Nathan was the father of Zabad.

[37] וְזָבָד הוֹלִיד אֶת־אֶפְלָל וְאֶפְלָל הוֹלִיד אֶת־עוֹבֵד ׃

[37] Xa-bát sanh Ép-la, Ép-la sanh Ô-bết,
[37] Zabad was the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal was the father of Obed.

[38] וְעוֹבֵד הוֹלִיד אֶת־יֵהוּא וְיֵהוּא הוֹלִיד אֶת־עֲזַרְיָה ׃

[38] Obed was the father of Jehu, and Jehu was the father of Azariah.

[39] וַעֲזַרְיָה הֹלִיד אֶת־חָלֶץ וְחֶלֶץ הֹלִיד אֶת־אֶלְעָשָׂה ׃

[39] Azariah was the father of Helez, and Helez was the father of Eleasah.

[40] וְאֶלְעָשָׂה הֹלִיד אֶת־סִסְמָי וְסִסְמַי הֹלִיד אֶת־שַׁלּוּם ׃

[40] Ê-la-xa sanh Sít-mai, Sít-mai sanh Sa-lum,
[40] Eleasah was the father of Sismai, and Sismai was the father of Shallum.

[41] וְשַׁלּוּם הוֹלִיד אֶת־יְקַמְיָה וִיקַמְיָה הֹלִיד אֶת־אֱלִישָׁמָע ׃

[41] Sa-lum sanh Giê-ca-mia, Giê-ca-mia sanh Ê-li-sa-ma.
[41] Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.

[42] וּבְנֵי כָלֵב אֲחִי יְרַחְמְאֵל מֵישָׁע בְּכֹרוֹ הוּא אֲבִי־זִיף וּבְנֵי מָרֵשָׁה אֲבִי חֶבְרוֹן ׃

[43] וּבְנֵי חֶבְרוֹן קֹרַח וְתַפֻּחַ וְרֶקֶם וָשָׁמַע ׃

[44] Shema was the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam. Rekem was the father of Shammai.

[45] וּבֶן־שַׁמַּי מָעוֹן וּמָעוֹן אֲבִי בֵית־צוּר ׃

[46] וְעֵיפָה פִּילֶגֶשׁ כָּלֵב יָלְדָה אֶת־חָרָן וְאֶת־מוֹצָא וְאֶת־גָּזֵז וְחָרָן הֹלִיד אֶת־גָּזֵז ׃ ס

[46] Caleb’s concubine Ephah bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.

[47] וּבְנֵי יָהְדָּי רֶגֶם וְיוֹתָם וְגֵישָׁן וָפֶלֶט וְעֵיפָה וָשָׁעַף ׃

[47] Con trai của Gia-đai là Rê-ghem, Giô-than, Ghê-san, Phê-lết, Ê-pha, và Sa-áp.
[47] The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

[48] פִּלֶגֶשׁ כָּלֵב מַעֲכָה יָלַד שֶׁבֶר וְאֶת־תִּרְחֲנָה ׃

[48] Caleb’s concubine Maacah bore Sheber and Tirhanah.

[49] וַתֵּלֶד שַׁעַף אֲבִי מַדְמַנָּה אֶת־שְׁוָא אֲבִי מַכְבֵּנָה וַאֲבִי גִבְעָא וּבַת־כָּלֵב עַכְסָה ׃ ס

[49] Nàng cũng sanh Sa-áp, là tổ phụ của Mát-ma-na, Sê-va, tổ phụ của Mác-bê-na, và tổ phụ của Ghi-bê-a. Con gái Ca-lép là Aïc-sa.
[49] She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah and Sheva the father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Achsah.

[50] אֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי כָלֵב בֶּן־חוּר בְּכוֹר אֶפְרָתָה שׁוֹבָל אֲבִי קִרְיַת יְעָרִים ׃

[50] Ðây là những con cháu của Ca-lép: Sô-banh, con trai của Hu-rơ, là con trưởng nam của Ép-ra-ta, và tổ phụ của Ki-ri-át-Giê-a-rim;
[50] These were the descendants of Caleb. The sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrath: Shobal, the father of Kiriath Jearim,

[51] שַׂלְמָא אֲבִי בֵית־לָחֶם חָרֵף אֲבִי בֵית־גָּדֵר ׃

[52] The sons of Shobal, the father of Kiriath Jearim, were Haroeh, half of the Manahathites,

[53] וּמִשְׁפְּחוֹת קִרְיַת יְעָרִים הַיִּתְרִי וְהַפּוּתִי וְהַשֻּׁמָתִי וְהַמִּשְׁרָעִי מֵאֵלֶּה יָצְאוּ הַצָּרְעָתִי וְהָאֶשְׁתָּאֻלִי ׃ ס

[54] בְּנֵי שַׂלְמָא בֵּית לֶחֶם וּנְטוֹפָתִי עַטְרוֹת בֵּית יוֹאָב וַחֲצִי הַמָּנַחְתִּי הַצָּרְעִי ׃

[54] Con cháu của Sanh-ma là Bết-lê-hem, người Nê-tô-pha-tít, người Aït-rốt-Bết-Giô-áp, nửa phần dân Ma-na-ha-tít, và người Xô-rít.
[54] The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth-Joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,

[55] וּמִשְׁפְּחוֹת סֹפְרִים יֹשְׁבוּ יַעְבֵּץ תִּרְעָתִים שִׁמְעָתִים שׂוּכָתִים הֵמָּה הַקִּינִים הַבָּאִים מֵחַמַּת אֲבִי בֵית־רֵכָב ׃ ס
