[1] וּבְנֵי רְאוּבֵן בְּכוֹר־יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי הוּא הַבְּכוֹר וּבְחַלְּלוֹ יְצוּעֵי אָבִיו נִתְּנָה בְּכֹרָתוֹ לִבְנֵי יוֹסֵף בֶּן־יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא לְהִתְיַחֵשׂ לַבְּכֹרָה ׃#
[1] Vả, Ru-bên, con trưởng nam của Y-sơ-ra-ên, vì làm ô uế giường của cha mình, nên quyền trưởng tử đã về các con trai Giô-sép, là con trai Y-sơ-ra-ên; dầu vậy, trong gia phổ không chép Giô-sép là trưởng tử;
[1] The sons of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn — (Now he was the firstborn, but when he defiled his father’s bed, his rights as firstborn were given to the sons of Joseph, Israel’s son. So Reuben is not listed as firstborn in the genealogical records.
[2] כִּי יְהוּדָה גָּבַר בְּאֶחָיו וּלְנָגִיד מִמֶּנּוּ וְהַבְּכֹרָה לְיוֹסֵף ׃ ס#
[2] vì Giu-đa trổi hơn anh em mình, và bởi người mà ra vua chúa; song quyền trưởng tử thì về Giô-sép.
[2] Though Judah was the strongest among his brothers and a leader descended from him, the right of the firstborn belonged to Joseph.)
[3] בְּנֵי רְאוּבֵן בְּכוֹר יִשְׂרָאֵל חֲנוֹךְ וּפַלּוּא חֶצְרוֹן וְכַרְמִי ׃#

[3] The sons of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
[4] בְּנֵי יוֹאֵל שְׁמַעְיָה בְנוֹ גּוֹג בְּנוֹ שִׁמְעִי בְנוֹ ׃#

[4] The descendants of Joel: His son Shemaiah, his son Gog, his son Shimei,

[6] and his son Beerah, whom King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria carried into exile. Beerah was the tribal leader of Reuben.
[7] וְאֶחָיו לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָיו בְּהִתְיַחֵשׂ לְתֹלְדוֹתָם הָרֹאשׁ יְעִיאֵל וּזְכַרְיָהוּ ׃#

[7] His brothers by their clans, as listed in their genealogical records: The leader Jeiel, Zechariah,
[8] וּבֶלַע בֶּן־עָזָז בֶּן־שֶׁמַע בֶּן־יוֹאֵל הוּא יוֹשֵׁב בַּעֲרֹעֵר וְעַד־נְבוֹ וּבַעַל מְעוֹן ׃#
[8] Bê-la, con trai của A-xa, cháu của Sê-ma, chắt của Giô-ên; Bê-la ở tại A-rô-e, cho đến Nê-bô và Ba-anh-Mê-ôn;
[8] and Bela son of Azaz, son of Shema, son of Joel. They lived in Aroer as far as Nebo and Baal Meon.
[9] וְלַמִּזְרָח יָשַׁב עַד־לְבוֹא מִדְבָּרָה לְמִן־הַנָּהָר פְּרָת כִּי מִקְנֵיהֶם רָבוּ בְּאֶרֶץ גִּלְעָד ׃#
[9] về phía đông người ở vào lối đồng vắng cho đến sông Ơ-phơ-rát, vì trong xứ Ga-la-át bầy súc vật chúng có sanh thêm nhiều lắm.
[9] In the east they settled as far as the entrance to the desert that stretches to the Euphrates River, for their cattle had increased in numbers in the land of Gilead.
[10] וּבִימֵי שָׁאוּל עָשׂוּ מִלְחָמָה עִם־הַהַגְרִאִים וַיִּפְּלוּ בְּיָדָם וַיֵּשְׁבוּ בְּאָהֳלֵיהֶם עַל־כָּל־פְּנֵי מִזְרָח לַגִּלְעָד ׃ פ#
[10] Trong đời vua Sau-lơ, chúng ra đánh giặc với dân Ha-ga-rít, thắng hơn họ, và ở trong trại họ tại khắp miền phía đông xứ Ga-la-át.
[10] During the time of Saul they attacked the Hagrites and defeated them. They took over their territory in the entire eastern region of Gilead.
[11] וּבְנֵי־גָד לְנֶגְדָּם יָשְׁבוּ בְּאֶרֶץ הַבָּשָׁן עַד־סַלְכָה ׃#
[11] Con cháu Gát ở đối ngang chúng nó trong xứ Ba-san, cho đến Sanh-ca.
[11] The descendants of Gad lived near them in the land of Bashan, as far as Salecah.
[12] יוֹאֵל הָרֹאשׁ וְשָׁפָם הַמִּשְׁנֶה וְיַעְנַי וְשָׁפָט בַּבָּשָׁן ׃#
[12] Giô-ên là trưởng tộc, Sa-pham làm phó; lại có Gia-nai và Sa-phát ở Ba-san.
[12] They included Joel the leader, Shapham the second in command, Janai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
[13] וַאֲחֵיהֶם לְבֵית אֲבוֹתֵיהֶם מִיכָאֵל וּמְשֻׁלָּם וְשֶׁבַע וְיוֹרַי וְיַעְכָּן וְזִיעַ וָעֵבֶר שִׁבְעָה ׃ ס#
[13] Anh em tùy theo tông tộc chúng, là bảy người: Mi-ca-ên, Mê-su-lam, Sê-ba, Giô-rai, Gia-can, Xia và Ê-be.
[13] Their relatives, listed according to their families, included Michael, Meshullam, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia, and Eber — seven in all.
[14] אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אֲבִיחַיִל בֶּן־חוּרִי בֶּן־יָרוֹחַ בֶּן־גִּלְעָד בֶּן־מִיכָאֵל בֶּן־יְשִׁישַׁי בֶּן־יַחְדּוֹ בֶּן־בּוּז ׃#

[14] These were the sons of Abihail son of Huri, son of Jaroah, son of Gilead, son of Michael, son of Jeshishai, son of Jahdo, son of Buz.
[15] אֲחִי בֶּן־עַבְדִּיאֵל בֶּן־גּוּנִי רֹאשׁ לְבֵית אֲבוֹתָם ׃#
[15] A-hi con trai của Áp-đi-ên, Áp-đi-ên con trai của Gu-ni; A-hi làm trưởng tộc.
[15] Ahi son of Abdiel, son of Guni, was the leader of the family.
[16] וַיֵּשְׁבוּ בַּגִּלְעָד בַּבָּשָׁן וּבִבְנֹתֶיהָ וּבְכָל־מִגְרְשֵׁי שָׁרוֹן עַל־תוֹצְאוֹתָם ׃#
[16] Chúng ở nơi Ga-la-át, Ba-san, cùng trong các hương thôn của xứ ấy; lại ở trong cõi Sa-rôn cho đến giới hạn nó.
[16] They lived in Gilead, in Bashan and its surrounding settlements, and in the pasturelands of Sharon to their very borders.
[17] כֻּלָּם הִתְיַחְשׂוּ בִּימֵי יוֹתָם מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה וּבִימֵי יָרָבְעָם מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל ׃ פ#
[17] Những kẻ nầy đã được biên vào sách gia phổ trong đời vua Giô-tham nước Giu-đa, và trong đời vua Giê-rô-bô-am nước Y-sơ-ra-ên.
[17] All of them were listed in the genealogical records in the time of King Jotham of Judah and in the time of King Jeroboam of Israel.
[18] בְּנֵי־רְאוּבֵן וְגָדִי וַחֲצִי שֵׁבֶט־מְנַשֶּׁה מִן־בְּנֵי־חַיִל אֲנָשִׁים נֹשְׂאֵי מָגֵן וְחֶרֶב וְדֹרְכֵי קֶשֶׁת וּלְמוּדֵי מִלְחָמָה אַרְבָּעִים וְאַרְבָּעָה אֶלֶף וּשְׁבַע־מֵאוֹת וְשִׁשִּׁים יֹצְאֵי צָבָא ׃#
[18] Trong con cháu Ru-bên, người Gát và phân nửa chi phái Ma-na-se, các người lính chiến có tài cầm khiên, cầm gươm, giương cung, và thạo về chinh chiến, là bốn vạn bốn ngàn bảy trăm sáu mươi người, có thể ra trận được.
[18] The Reubenites, Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh had 44,760 men in their combined armies, warriors who carried shields and swords, were equipped with bows, and were trained for war.
[19] וַיַּעֲשׂוּ מִלְחָמָה עִם־הַהַגְרִיאִים וִיטוּר וְנָפִישׁ וְנוֹדָב ׃#
[19] Chúng giao chiến với dân Ha-ga-rít, dân Giê-tua, dân Na-phi, và dân Nô-đáp.
[19] They attacked the Hagrites, Jetur, Naphish, and Nodab.
[20] וַיֵּעָזְרוּ עֲלֵיהֶם וַיִּנָּתְנוּ בְיָדָם הַהַגְרִיאִים וְכֹל שֶׁעִמָּהֶם כִּי לֵאלֹהִים זָעֲקוּ בַּמִּלְחָמָה וְנַעְתּוֹר לָהֶם כִּי־בָטְחוּ בוֹ ׃#
[20] Trong khi giao chiến, chúng kêu cầu cùng Ðức Chúa Trời, và Ðức Chúa Trời vì chúng có lòng tin cậy Ngài, thì cứu giúp cho, phó dân Ha-ga-rít và cả những kẻ theo nó vào tay chúng.
[20] They received divine help in fighting them, and the Hagrites and all their allies were handed over to them. They cried out to God during the battle; he responded to their prayers because they trusted in him.
[21] וַיִּשְׁבּוּ מִקְנֵיהֶם גְּמַלֵּיהֶם חֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וְצֹאן מָאתַיִם וַחֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וַחֲמוֹרִים אַלְפָּיִם וְנֶפֶשׁ אָדָם מֵאָה אָלֶף ׃#
[21] Chúng bắt được những bầy súc vật của các dân ấy, là năm vạn lạc đà, hai mươi lăm vạn chiên, hai ngàn lừa, và luôn mười vạn người.
[21] They seized the Hagrites’ animals, including 50,000 camels, 250,000 sheep, and 2,000 donkeys. They also took captive 100,000 people.
[22] כִּי־חֲלָלִים רַבִּים נָפָלוּ כִּי מֵהָאֱלֹהִים הַמִּלְחָמָה וַיֵּשְׁבוּ תַחְתֵּיהֶם עַד־הַגֹּלָה ׃ פ#
[22] Cũng có nhiều người bị chết, vì trận nầy bởi Ðức Chúa Trời mà có. Chúng ở thay vào các dân tộc ấy cho đến khi bị bắt dẫn đi làm phu tù.
[22] Because God fought for them, they killed many of the enemy. They dispossessed the Hagrites and lived in their land until the exile.
[23] וּבְנֵי חֲצִי שֵׁבֶט מְנַשֶּׁה יָשְׁבוּ בָּאָרֶץ מִבָּשָׁן עַד־בַּעַל חֶרְמוֹן וּשְׂנִיר וְהַר־חֶרְמוֹן הֵמָּה רָבוּ ׃#
[23] Người nửa chi phái Mê-na-se ở trong xứ từ Ba-san cho đến Ba-anh-Hẹt-môn, Sê-nia, và núi Hẹt-môn; nhân số họ rất đông.
[23] The half-tribe of Manasseh settled in the land from Bashan as far as Baal Hermon, Senir, and Mount Hermon. They grew in number.
[24] וְאֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי בֵית־אֲבוֹתָם וְעֵפֶר וְיִשְׁעִי וֶאֱלִיאֵל וְעַזְרִיאֵל וְיִרְמְיָה וְהוֹדַוְיָה וְיַחְדִּיאֵל אֲנָשִׁים גִּבּוֹרֵי חַיִל אַנְשֵׁי שֵׁמוֹת רָאשִׁים לְבֵית אֲבוֹתָם ׃#
[24] Ðây là các trưởng tộc trong dòng dõi chúng: Ê-phe, Di-si, Ê-li-ên, Ách-ri-ên, Giê-rê-mi, Hô-đa-via, và Giắc-đi-ên, đều là các trưởng tộc, vốn người mạnh dạn, có danh tiếng.
[24] These were the leaders of their families: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, and Jahdiel. They were skilled warriors, men of reputation, and leaders of their families.
[25] וַיִּמְעֲלוּ בֵּאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵיהֶם וַיִּזְנוּ אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהֵי עַמֵּי־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר־הִשְׁמִיד אֱלֹהִים מִפְּנֵיהֶם ׃#
[25] Song chúng phạm tội cùng Ðức Chúa Trời của các tổ phụ mình, và thông dâm cùng những thần của các dân tộc của xứ mà Ðức Chúa Trời đã hủy hoại trước mặt chúng.
[25] But they were unfaithful to the God of their ancestors and worshiped instead the gods of the native peoples whom God had destroyed before them.
[26] וַיָּעַר אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־רוּחַ פּוּל מֶלֶךְ־אַשּׁוּר וְאֶת־רוּחַ תִּלְּגַת פִּלְנֶסֶר מֶלֶךְ אַשּׁוּר וַיַּגְלֵם לָראוּבֵנִי וְלַגָּדִי וְלַחֲצִי שֵׁבֶט מְנַשֶּׁה וַיְבִיאֵם לַחְלַח וְחָבוֹר וְהָרָא וּנְהַר גּוֹזָן עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה ׃ פ#
[26] Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên xui giục lòng Phun, vua nước A-si-ri, và Tiếc-lát-Phin-nê-se, cùng vua nước A-si-ri, đến bắt người Ru-bên, người Gát, và nửa chi phái Mê-na-se, đem chúng về ở Ha-la, Cha-bo, Ha-ra, và miền gần sông Gô-xan, là nơi chúng còn ở cho đến ngày nay.
[26] So the God of Israel stirred up King Pul of Assyria (that is, King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria), and he carried away the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh and took them to Halah, Habor, Hara, and the river of Gozan, where they remain to this very day.
[27] בְּנֵי לֵוִי גֵּרְשׁוֹן קְהָת וּמְרָרִי ׃#

[27] The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

[29] The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

[30] Ê-lê-a-sa sanh Phi-nê-a; Phi-nê-a sanh A-bi-sua;
[30] Eleazar was the father of Phinehas, and Phinehas was the father of Abishua.
[31] וַאֲבִישׁוּעַ הוֹלִיד אֶת־בֻּקִּי וּבֻקִּי הוֹלִיד אֶת־עֻזִּי ׃#
[31] A-bi-sua sanh Bu-ki, Bu-ki sanh U-xi;
[31] Abishua was the father of Bukki, and Bukki was the father of Uzzi.
[32] וְעֻזִּי הוֹלִיד אֶת־זְרַחְיָה וּזְרַחְיָה הוֹלִיד אֶת־מְרָיוֹת ׃#
[32] U-xi sanh Xê-ra-hi-gia; Xê-ra-hi-gia sanh Mê-ra-giốt;
[32] Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah, and Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth.
[33] מְרָיוֹת הוֹלִיד אֶת־אֲמַרְיָה וַאֲמַרְיָה הוֹלִיד אֶת־אֲחִיטוּב ׃#
[33] Mê-ra-giốt sanh A-ma-ria; A-ma-ria sanh A-hi-túp;
[33] Meraioth was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub.
[34] וַאֲחִיטוּב הוֹלִיד אֶת־צָדוֹק וְצָדוֹק הוֹלִיד אֶת־אֲחִימָעַץ ׃#
[34] A-hi-túp sanh Xa-đốc; Xa-đốc sanh A-hi-ma-ách;
[34] Ahitub was the father of Zadok, and Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz.
[35] וַאֲחִימַעַץ הוֹלִיד אֶת־עֲזַרְיָה וַעֲזַרְיָה הוֹלִיד אֶת־יוֹחָנָן ׃#
[35] A-hi-ma-ách sanh A-xa-ria; A-xa-ria sanh Giô-ha-nan;
[35] Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah, and Azariah was the father of Johanan.
[36] וְיוֹחָנָן הוֹלִיד אֶת־עֲזַרְיָה הוּא אֲשֶׁר כִּהֵן בַּבַּיִת אֲשֶׁר־בָּנָה שְׁלֹמֹה בִּירוּשָׁלָםִ ׃#
[36] Giô-ha-nan sanh A-xa-ria, là kẻ làm chức tế lễ trong đền vua Sa-lô-môn đã xây ở thành Giê-ru-sa-lem.
[36] Johanan was the father of Azariah, who served as a priest in the temple Solomon built in Jerusalem.
[37] וַיּוֹלֶד עֲזַרְיָה אֶת־אֲמַרְיָה וַאֲמַרְיָה הוֹלִיד אֶת־אֲחִיטוּב ׃#
[37] A-xa-ria sanh A-ma-ria; A-ma-ria sanh A-hi-túp;
[37] Azariah was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub.
[38] וַאֲחִיטוּב הוֹלִיד אֶת־צָדוֹק וְצָדוֹק הוֹלִיד אֶת־שַׁלּוּם ׃#
[38] A-hi-túp sanh Xa-đốc; Xa-đốc sanh Sa-lum;
[38] Ahitub was the father of Zadok, and Zadok was the father of Shallum.
[39] וְשַׁלּוּם הוֹלִיד אֶת־חִלְקִיָּה וְחִלְקִיָּה הוֹלִיד אֶת־עֲזַרְיָה ׃#
[39] Sa-lum sanh Hinh-kia; Hinh-kia sanh A-xa-ria;
[39] Shallum was the father of Hilkiah, and Hilkiah was the father of Azariah.
[40] וַעֲזַרְיָה הוֹלִיד אֶת־שְׂרָיָה וּשְׂרָיָה הוֹלִיד אֶת־יְהוֹצָדָק ׃#
[40] A-xa-ria sanh Sê-ra-gia; Sê-ra-gia sanh Giê-hô-xa-đác;
[40] Azariah was the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak.
[41] וִיהוֹצָדָק הָלַךְ בְּהַגְלוֹת יְהוָה אֶת־יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִָם בְּיַד נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּר ׃ ס#
[41] Giê-hô-xa-đác bị bắt làm phu tù khi Ðức Giê-hô-va dùng tay Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa mà bắt dẫn dân Giu-đa và Giê-ru-sa-lem đi.
[41] Jehozadak went into exile when the LORD sent the people of Judah and Jerusalem into exile by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
