[1] וַיְהִי הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה מֶלֶךְ עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל ׃ ס

[1] Vua Sa-lô-môn trị vì trên cả Y-sơ-ra-ên.
[1] King Solomon ruled over all Israel.

[2] וְאֵלֶּה הַשָּׂרִים אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ עֲזַרְיָהוּ בֶן־צָדוֹק הַכֹּהֵן ׃ ס

[2] Nầy là các triều thần của người: A-xa-ria, con trai thầy tế lễ Xa-đốc;
[2] These were his officials: Azariah son of Zadok was the priest.

[3] אֱלִיחֹרֶף וַאֲחִיָּה בְּנֵי שִׁישָׁא סֹפְרִים יְהוֹשָׁפָט בֶּן־אֲחִילוּד הַמַּזְכִּיר ׃

[3] Ê-li-ô-rếp và A-hi-gia, con trai của Si-na, làm ký lục; Giê-hô-sa-phát, con trai A-hi-lút, làm thủ bộ;
[3] Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, wrote down what happened. Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was in charge of the records.

[4] וּבְנָיָהוּ בֶן־יְהוֹיָדָע עַל־הַצָּבָא וְצָדוֹק וְאֶבְיָתָר כֹּהֲנִים ׃ ס

[4] Bê-na-gia, con trai Giê-hô-gia-đa, làm tổng binh, Xa-đốc và A-bia-tha làm thầy tế lễ.
[4] Benaiah son of Jehoiada was commander of the army. Zadok and Abiathar were priests.

[5] וַעֲזַרְיָהוּ בֶן־נָתָן עַל־הַנִּצָּבִים וְזָבוּד בֶּן־נָתָן כֹּהֵן רֵעֶה הַמֶּלֶךְ ׃

[5] A-xa-ria, con trai na-than, làm đầu các quan lại; Xa-bút, con trai Na-than, làm tể tướng và là bạn của vua;
[5] Azariah son of Nathan was supervisor of the district governors. Zabud son of Nathan was a priest and adviser to the king.

[6] וַאֲחִישָׁר עַל־הַבָּיִת וַאֲדֹנִירָם בֶּן־עַבְדָּא עַל־הַמַּס ׃ ס

[6] A-hi-sa, làm quan cai cung điện; và A-đô-ni-ram, con trai Áp-đa, coi việc cống thuế.
[6] Ahishar was supervisor of the palace. Adoniram son of Abda was supervisor of the work crews.

[7] וְלִשְׁלֹמֹה שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂר נִצָּבִים עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל וְכִלְכְּלוּ אֶת־הַמֶּלֶךְ וְאֶת־בֵּיתוֹ חֹדֶשׁ בַּשָּׁנָה יִהְיֶה עַל־אֶחָד לְכַלְכֵּל ׃ ס

[7] Sa-lô-môn có mười hai người làm đầu quan lại cai trị cả Y-sơ-ra-ên, để cung cấp lương thực cho vua và cho nhà vua: mỗi người trong một năm phải cung cấp một tháng.
[7] Solomon had twelve district governors appointed throughout Israel who acquired supplies for the king and his palace. Each was responsible for one month in the year.

[8] וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹתָם בֶּן־חוּר בְּהַר אֶפְרָיִם ׃ ס

[8] Nầy là các tên họ: Con trai Hu-rơ, coi về trong núi Ép-ra-im;
[8] These were their names: Ben-Hur was in charge of the hill country of Ephraim.

[9] בֶּן־דֶּקֶר בְּמָקַץ וּבְשַׁעַלְבִים וּבֵית שָׁמֶשׁ וְאֵילוֹן בֵּית חָנָן ׃ ס

[9] con trai Ðê-kem coi về Ma-kát, Sa-an-bim, Bết-Sê-mết, và Ê-lôn của Bết-Ha-na;
[9] Ben-Deker was in charge of Makaz, Shaalbim, Beth Shemesh, and Elon Beth Hanan.

[10] בֶּן־חֶסֶד בָּאֲרֻבּוֹת לוֹ שֹׂכֹה וְכָל־אֶרֶץ חֵפֶר ׃ ס

[10] con trai Hê-sết, coi về A-ru-bốt người coi luôn Sô-cô và cả xứ Hê-phe.
[10] Ben-Hesed was in charge of Arubboth; he controlled Socoh and all the territory of Hepher.

[11] בֶּן־אֲבִינָדָב כָּל־נָפַת דֹּאר טָפַת בַּת־שְׁלֹמֹה הָיְתָה לּוֹ לְאִשָּׁה ׃ ס

[11] Con trai A-bi-na-đáp coi cả đồng cao Ðô-rơ; Ta-phát, con gái của Sa-lô-môn, là vợ người.
[11] Ben-Abinadab was in charge of Naphath Dor. (He was married to Solomon’s daughter Taphath.)

[12] בַּעֲנָא בֶּן־אֲחִילוּד תַּעְנַךְ וּמְגִדּוֹ וְכָל־בֵּית שְׁאָן אֲשֶׁר אֵצֶל צָרְתַנָה מִתַּחַת לְיִזְרְעֶאל מִבֵּית שְׁאָן עַד אָבֵל מְחוֹלָה עַד מֵעֵבֶר לְיָקְמֳעָם ׃ ס

[12] Ba-a-na, con trai A-hi-lút, coi Tha-a-nác, Mê-ghi-đô, và cả xứ Bết-Sê-an, ở gần Xạt-han dưới Gít-ê-ên, từ Bết-Sê-an cho đến A-bên-Mê-hô-la và cho đến khỏi bên kia Giốc-mê-am.
[12] Baana son of Ahilud was in charge of Taanach and Megiddo, as well as all of Beth Shan next to Zarethan below Jezreel, from Beth Shan to Abel Meholah and on past Jokmeam.

[13] בֶּן־גֶּבֶר בְּרָמֹת גִּלְעָד לוֹ חַוֹּת יָאִיר בֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁה אֲשֶׁר בַּגִּלְעָד לוֹ חֶבֶל אַרְגֹּב אֲשֶׁר בַּבָּשָׁן שִׁשִּׁים עָרִים גְּדֹלוֹת חוֹמָה וּבְרִיחַ נְחֹשֶׁת ׃ ס

[13] Con trai Ghê-be ở tại Ra-mốt của Ga-la-át; người coi thôn Giai-rơ, Giai-rơ là con trai của Ma-na-se; người cũng cai trị miền Aït-gốp, trong Ba-san, sáu mươi thành lớn có tường thành và then cửa đồng.
[13] Ben-Geber was in charge of Ramoth Gilead; he controlled the tent villages of Jair son of Manasseh in Gilead, as well as the region of Argob in Bashan, including sixty large walled cities with bronze bars locking their gates.

[14] אֲחִינָדָב בֶּן־עִדֹּא מַחֲנָיְמָה ׃

[14] A-hi-na-đáp, con trai Y-đô, ở tại Ma-ha-na-im;
[14] Ahinadab son of Iddo was in charge of Mahanaim.

[15] אֲחִימַעַץ בְּנַפְתָּלִי גַּם־הוּא לָקַח אֶת־בָּשְׂמַת בַּת־שְׁלֹמֹה לְאִשָּׁה ׃

[15] A-hi-mát, trong địa phận Nép-ta-li; người cũng cưới một con gái của Sa-lô-môn làm vợ, tên là Bách-mát.
[15] Ahimaaz was in charge of Naphtali. (He married Solomon’s daughter Basemath.)

[16] בַּעֲנָא בֶּן־חוּשָׁי בְּאָשֵׁר וּבְעָלוֹת ׃ ס

[16] Ba-a-na, con trai Hu-sai, ở trong xứ A-se và A-lốt;
[16] Baana son of Hushai was in charge of Asher and Aloth.

[17] יְהוֹשָׁפָט בֶּן־פָּרוּחַ בְּיִשָׂשכָר ׃ ס

[17] Giê-hô-sa-phát, con trai Pha-ru-ác coi về Y-sa-ca;
[17] Jehoshaphat son of Paruah was in charge of Issachar.

[18] שִׁמְעִי בֶן־אֵלָא בְּבִנְיָמִן ׃ ס

[18] Si-mê-i, con trai Ê-la, coi về Bên-gia-min;
[18] Shimei son of Ela was in charge of Benjamin.

[19] גֶּבֶר בֶּן־אֻרִי בְּאֶרֶץ גִּלְעָד אֶרֶץ סִיחוֹן מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי וְעֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן וּנְצִיב אֶחָד אֲשֶׁר בָּאָרֶץ ׃

[19] Ghê-be, con trai U-ri, coi về xứ Ga-la-át, thuở xưa vốn là xứ của Si-hôn, vua dân A-mô-rít và của Oùc, vua Ba-san. Chỉ có một mình người làm đầu quan lại coi về cả miền này.
[19] Geber son of Uri was in charge of the land of Gilead (the territory which had once belonged to King Sihon of the Amorites and to King Og of Bashan). He was sole governor of the area.

[20] יְהוּדָה וְיִשְׂרָאֵל רַבִּים כַּחוֹל אֲשֶׁר־עַל־הַיָּם לָרֹב אֹכְלִים וְשֹׁתִים וּשְׂמֵחִים ׃

[20] Dân Giu-đa và Y-sơ-ra-ên đông như cát trên bờ biển, ăn uống và vui chơi.
[20] The people of Judah and Israel were as innumerable as the sand on the seashore; they had plenty to eat and drink and were happy.
