[1] וְאֶל־מֹשֶׁה אָמַר עֲלֵה אֶל־יְהוָה אַתָּה וְאַהֲרֹן נָדָב וַאֲבִיהוּא וְשִׁבְעִים מִזִּקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶם מֵרָחֹק ׃#
[1] Ðức Chúa Trời phán cùng Môi-se rằng: Ngươi và A-rôn, Na-đáp, và A-bi-hu cùng bảy mươi trưởng lão Y-sơ-ra-ên hãy lên cùng Ðức Giê-hô-va ở đằng xa mà lạy.
[1] But to Moses the LORD said, “Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from a distance.
[2] וְנִגַּשׁ מֹשֶׁה לְבַדּוֹ אֶל־יְהוָה וְהֵם לֹא יִגָּשׁוּ וְהָעָם לֹא יַעֲלוּ עִמּוֹ ׃#
[2] Chỉ một mình Môi-se sẽ đến gần Ðức Giê-hô-va mà thôi, còn họ không đến gần, và dân sự cùng không lên cùng người.
[2] Moses alone may come near the LORD, but the others must not come near, nor may the people go up with him.”
[3] וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה וַיְסַפֵּר לָעָם אֵת כָּל־דִּבְרֵי יְהוָה וְאֵת כָּל־הַמִּשְׁפָּטִים וַיַּעַן כָּל־הָעָם קוֹל אֶחָד וַיֹּאמְרוּ כָּל־הַדְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר יְהוָה נַעֲשֶׂה ׃#
[3] Môi-se bèn đến thuật lại cho dân sự mọi lời phán của Ðức Giê-hô-va và các luật lệ, thì chúng đồng thinh đáp rằng: Chúng tôi sẽ làm mọi lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán dạy.
[3] Moses came and told the people all the LORD’s words and all the decisions. All the people answered together, “We are willing to do all the words that the LORD has said,”
[4] וַיִּכְתֹּב מֹשֶׁה אֵת כָּל־דִּבְרֵי יְהוָה וַיַּשְׁכֵּם בַּבֹּקֶר וַיִּבֶן מִזְבֵּחַ תַּחַת הָהָר וּשְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה מַצֵּבָה לִשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל ׃#
[4] Môi-se chép hết mọi lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va; rồi dậy sớm, xây một bàn thờ nơi chân núi, dựng mười hai cây trụ chỉ về mười hai chi phái Y-sơ-ra-ên.
[4] and Moses wrote down all the words of the LORD. Early in the morning he built an altar at the foot of the mountain and arranged twelve standing stones — according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
[5] וַיִּשְׁלַח אֶת־נַעֲרֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּעֲלוּ עֹלֹת וַיִּזְבְּחוּ זְבָחִים שְׁלָמִים לַיהוָה פָּרִים ׃#
[5] Người sai kẻ trai trẻ của dân Y-sơ-ra-ên đi dâng của lễ thiêu và của lễ thù ân cho Ðức Giê-hô-va bằng con bò tơ.
[5] He sent young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls for peace offerings to the LORD.
[6] וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה חֲצִי הַדָּם וַיָּשֶׂם בָּאַגָּנֹת וַחֲצִי הַדָּם זָרַק עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ ׃#
[6] Môi-se lấy phân nửa huyết đựng trong các chậu, còn phân nửa thì rưới trên bàn thờ.
[6] Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and half of the blood he splashed on the altar.
[7] וַיִּקַּח סֵפֶר הַבְּרִית וַיִּקְרָא בְּאָזְנֵי הָעָם וַיֹּאמְרוּ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר יְהוָה נַעֲשֶׂה וְנִשְׁמָע ׃#
[7] Ðoạn, người cầm quyển sách giao ước đọc cho dân sự nghe, thì dân sự nói rằng: Chúng tôi sẽ làm và vâng theo mọi lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán chỉ.
[7] He took the Book of the Covenant and read it aloud to the people, and they said, “We are willing to do and obey all that the LORD has spoken.”
[8] וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה אֶת־הַדָּם וַיִּזְרֹק עַל־הָעָם וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה דַם־הַבְּרִית אֲשֶׁר כָּרַת יְהוָה עִמָּכֶם עַל כָּל־הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה ׃#
[8] Môi-se bèn lấy huyết rưới trên mình dân sự mà nói rằng: Ðây là huyết giao ước của Ðức Giê-hô-va đã lập cùng các ngươi y theo mọi lời nầy.
[8] So Moses took the blood and splashed it on the people and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
[9] וַיַּעַל מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן נָדָב וַאֲבִיהוּא וְשִׁבְעִים מִזִּקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל ׃#
[9] Ðoạn, Môi-se và A-rôn, Na-đáp và A-bi-hu cùng bảy mươi trưởng lão dân Y-sơ-ra-ên đều lên núi,
[9] Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up,
[10] וַיִּרְאוּ אֵת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְתַחַת רַגְלָיו כְּמַעֲשֵׂה לִבְנַת הַסַּפִּיר וּכְעֶצֶם הַשָּׁמַיִם לָטֹהַר ׃#
[10] ngó thấy Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên, dưới chân Ngài có một vật giống bích ngọc trong ngần, khác nào như sắc trời thanh-quang.
[10] and they saw the God of Israel. Under his feet there was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear like the sky itself.
[11] וְאֶל־אֲצִילֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא שָׁלַח יָדוֹ וַיֶּחֱזוּ אֶת־הָאֱלֹהִים וַיֹּאכְלוּ וַיִּשְׁתּוּ ׃ ס#
[11] Ngài chẳng tra tay vào những người tôn trọng trong vòng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên; nhưng họ ngó thấy Ðức Chúa Trời, thì ăn và uống.
[11] But he did not lay a hand on the leaders of the Israelites, so they saw God, and they ate and they drank.
[12] וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה עֲלֵה אֵלַי הָהָרָה וֶהְיֵה־שָׁם וְאֶתְּנָה לְךָ אֶת־לֻחֹת הָאֶבֶן וְהַתּוֹרָה וְהַמִּצְוָה אֲשֶׁר כָּתַבְתִּי לְהוֹרֹתָם ׃#
[12] Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Môi-se rằng: Hãy lên núi, đến cùng ta và ở lại đó; ta sẽ ban cho ngươi bảng đá, luật pháp và các điều răn của ta đã chép đặng dạy dân sự.
[12] The LORD said to Moses, “Come up to me to the mountain and remain there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commandments that I have written, so that you may teach them.”
[13] וַיָּקָם מֹשֶׁה וִיהוֹשֻׁעַ מְשָׁרְתוֹ וַיַּעַל מֹשֶׁה אֶל־הַר הָאֱלֹהִים ׃#
[13] Môi-se bèn chờ dậy cùng Giô-suê, kẻ hầu mình, rồi Môi-se đi lên núi Ðức Chúa Trời.
[13] So Moses set out with Joshua his attendant, and Moses went up the mountain of God.
[14] וְאֶל־הַזְּקֵנִים אָמַר שְׁבוּ־לָנוּ בָזֶה עַד אֲשֶׁר־נָשׁוּב אֲלֵיכֶם וְהִנֵּה אַהֲרֹן וְחוּר עִמָּכֶם מִי־בַעַל דְּבָרִים יִגַּשׁ אֲלֵהֶם ׃#
[14] Người bèn nói cùng các trưởng lão rằng: Hãy đợi chúng tôi tại đây cho đến chừng nào trở về cùng các ngươi. Nầy, A-rôn và Hu-rơ ở lại cùng các ngươi, ai có việc chi hãy hỏi hai người đó.
[14] He told the elders, “Wait for us in this place until we return to you. Here are Aaron and Hur with you. Whoever has any matters of dispute can approach them.”
[15] וַיַּעַל מֹשֶׁה אֶל־הָהָר וַיְכַס הֶעָנָן אֶת־הָהָר ׃#
[15] Vậy, Môi-se lên núi, mây che phủ núi.
[15] Moses went up the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
[16] וַיִּשְׁכֹּן כְּבוֹד־יְהוָה עַל־הַר סִינַי וַיְכַסֵּהוּ הֶעָנָן שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים וַיִּקְרָא אֶל־מֹשֶׁה בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִתּוֹךְ הֶעָנָן ׃#
[16] Sự vinh quang của Ðức Giê-hô-va ở tại núi Si-na-i; trong sáu ngày mây phủ núi, qua ngày thứ bảy Ðức Giê-hô-va ngự trong đám mây gọi Môi-se.
[16] The glory of the LORD resided on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day he called to Moses from within the cloud.
[17] וּמַרְאֵה כְּבוֹד יְהוָה כְּאֵשׁ אֹכֶלֶת בְּרֹאשׁ הָהָר לְעֵינֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל ׃#
[17] Cảnh trạng của sự vinh quang Ðức Giê-hô-va nơi đỉnh núi, trước mặt dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, khác nào như đám lửa hừng.
[17] Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in plain view of the people.
[18] וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה בְּתוֹךְ הֶעָנָן וַיַּעַל אֶל־הָהָר וַיְהִי מֹשֶׁה בָּהָר אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם וְאַרְבָּעִים לָיְלָה ׃ פ#
[18] Môi-se vào giữa đám mây, lên núi, ở tại đó trong bốn mươi ngày và bốn mươi đêm.
[18] Moses went into the cloud when he went up the mountain, and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
