[1] וְאֵלֶּה תּוֹלְדֹת בְּנֵי־נֹחַ שֵׁם חָם וָיָפֶת וַיִּוָּלְדוּ לָהֶם בָּנִים אַחַר הַמַּבּוּל ׃#
[1] Ðây là dòng dõi của Sem, Cham và Gia-phết, ba con trai của Nô-ê; sau khi lụt, họ sanh con cái.
[1] This is the account of Noah’s sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood.
[2] בְּנֵי יֶפֶת גֹּמֶר וּמָגוֹג וּמָדַי וְיָוָן וְתֻבָל וּמֶשֶׁךְ וְתִירָס ׃#
[2] Con trai của Gia-phết là Gô-me, Ma-gốc, Ma-đai, Gia-van, Tu-banh, Mê-siếc, và Ti-ra.
[2] The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
[3] וּבְנֵי גֹּמֶר אַשְׁכֲּנַז וְרִיפַת וְתֹגַרְמָה ׃#
[3] Con trai của Gô-me là Ách-kê-na, Ri-phát, và Tô-ga-ma.
[3] The sons of Gomer were Askenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
[4] וּבְנֵי יָוָן אֱלִישָׁה וְתַרְשִׁישׁ כִּתִּים וְדֹדָנִים ׃#
[4] Con trai của Gia-van là Ê-li-sa và Ta-rê-si, Kít-sim và Ðô-đa-nim.
[4] The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim, and the Dodanim.
[5] מֵאֵלֶּה נִפְרְדוּ אִיֵּי הַגּוֹיִם בְּאַרְצֹתָם אִישׁ לִלְשֹׁנוֹ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם בְּגוֹיֵהֶם ׃#
[5] Do họ mà có người ta ở tràn ra các cù lao của các dân, tùy theo xứ, tiếng nói, chi phái và dân tộc của họ mà chia ra.
[5] From these the coastlands of the nations were separated into their lands, every one according to its language, according to their families, by their nations.
[6] וּבְנֵי חָם כּוּשׁ וּמִצְרַיִם וּפוּט וּכְנָעַן ׃#
[6] Con trai của Cham là Cúc, Mích-ra-im, Phút và Ca-na-an.
[6] The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
[7] וּבְנֵי כוּשׁ סְבָא וַחֲוִילָה וְסַבְתָּה וְרַעְמָה וְסַבְתְּכָא וּבְנֵי רַעְמָה שְׁבָא וּדְדָן ׃#
[7] Con trai của Cúc là Sê-ba, Ha-vi-la, Sáp-ta, Ra-ê-ma và Sáp-tê-ca; con trai của Ra-ê-ma là Sê-la và Ðê-đan.
[7] The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
[8] וְכוּשׁ יָלַד אֶת־נִמְרֹד הוּא הֵחֵל לִהְיוֹת גִּבֹּר בָּאָרֶץ ׃#
[8] Cúc sanh Nim-rốt, ấy là người bắt đầu làm anh hùng trên mặt đất.
[8] Cush was the father of Nimrod; he began to be a valiant warrior on the earth.
[9] הוּא־הָיָה גִבֹּר־צַיִד לִפְנֵי יְהוָה עַל־כֵּן יֵאָמַר כְּנִמְרֹד גִּבּוֹר צַיִד לִפְנֵי יְהוָה ׃#
[9] Người là một tay thợ săn can đảm trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va. Bởi cớ đó, có tục ngữ rằng: Hệt như Nim-rốt, một tay thợ săn can đảm trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va!
[9] He was a mighty hunter before the LORD. (That is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.”)
[10] וַתְּהִי רֵאשִׁית מַמְלַכְתּוֹ בָּבֶל וְאֶרֶךְ וְאַכַּד וְכַלְנֵה בְּאֶרֶץ שִׁנְעָר ׃#
[10] Nước người sơ-lập là Ba-bên, Ê-rết, A-cát và Ca-ne ở tại xứ Si-nê-a.
[10] The primary regions of his kingdom were Babel, Erech, Akkad, and Calneh in the land of Shinar.
[11] מִן־הָאָרֶץ הַהִוא יָצָא אַשּׁוּר וַיִּבֶן אֶת־נִינְוֵה וְאֶת־רְחֹבֹת עִיר וְאֶת־כָּלַח ׃#
[11] Từ xứ đó người đến xứ A-si-ri, rồi lập thành Ni-ni-ve, Rê-hô-bô-ti, Ca-lách,
[11] From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,
[12] וְאֶת־רֶסֶן בֵּין נִינְוֵה וּבֵין כָּלַח הִוא הָעִיר הַגְּדֹלָה ׃#
[12] Và thành Rê-sen, là thành rất lớn, ở giữa khoảng thành Ni-ni-ve và Ca-lách.
[12] and Resen, which is between Nineveh and the great city Calah.
[13] וּמִצְרַיִם יָלַד אֶת־לוּדִים וְאֶת־עֲנָמִים וְאֶת־לְהָבִים וְאֶת־נַפְתֻּחִים ׃#
[13] Mích-ra-im sanh họ Lu-đim, họ A-na-mim, họ Lê-ha-bim, họ Náp-tu-him,
[13] Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites,
[14] וְאֶת־פַּתְרֻסִים וְאֶת־כַּסְלֻחִים אֲשֶׁר יָצְאוּ מִשָּׁם פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְאֶת־כַּפְתֹּרִים ׃#
[14] họ Bát-ru-sim, họ Cách-lu-him (bởi đó sanh họ Phi-li-tin), và họ Cáp-tô-rim.
[14] Pathrusites, Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came), and Caphtorites.
[15] ס וּכְנַעַן יָלַד אֶת־צִידֹן בְּכֹרוֹ וְאֶת־חֵת ׃#
[15] Ca-na-an sanh Si-đôn, là con trưởng nam, và Hếch,
[15] Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, Heth,
[16] וְאֶת־הַיְבוּסִי וְאֶת־הָאֱמֹרִי וְאֵת הַגִּרְגָּשִׁי ׃#
[16] cùng họ Giê-bu-sít, họ A-mô-rít, họ Ghi-rê-ga-sít,
[16] the Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,
[17] וְאֶת־הַחִוִּי וְאֶת־הַעַרְקִי וְאֶת־הַסִּינִי ׃#
[17] họ Hê-vít, họ A-rê-kít, họ Si-nít,
[17] Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,
[18] וְאֶת־הָאַרְוָדִי וְאֶת־הַצְּמָרִי וְאֶת־הַחֲמָתִי וְאַחַר נָפֹצוּ מִשְׁפְּחוֹת הַכְּנַעֲנִי ׃#
[18] họ A-va-đít, họ Xê-ma-rít, họ Ha-ma-tít. Kế đó, chi tộc Ca-na-an đi tản lạc.
[18] Arvadites, Zemarites, and Hamathites. Eventually the families of the Canaanites were scattered
[19] וַיְהִי גְּבוּל הַכְּנַעֲנִי מִצִּידֹן בֹּאֲכָה גְרָרָה עַד־עַזָּה בֹּאֲכָה סְדֹמָה וַעֲמֹרָה וְאַדְמָה וּצְבֹיִם עַד־לָשַׁע ׃#
[19] Còn địa-phận Ca-na-an, về hướng Ghê-ra, chạy từ Si-đôn tới Ga-xa; về hướng Sô-đôm, Gô-mô-rơ, Át-ma và Sê-bô-im, chạy đến Lê-sa.
[19] and the borders of Canaan extended from Sidon all the way to Gerar as far as Gaza, and all the way to Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.
[20] אֵלֶּה בְנֵי־חָם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לִלְשֹׁנֹתָם בְּאַרְצֹתָם בְּגוֹיֵהֶם ׃ ס#
[20] Ðó là con cháu của Cham, tùy theo họ hàng, tiếng nói, xứ và dân tộc của họ.
[20] These are the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their languages, by their lands, and by their nations.
[21] וּלְשֵׁם יֻלַּד גַּם־הוּא אֲבִי כָּל־בְּנֵי־עֵבֶר אֲחִי יֶפֶת הַגָּדוֹל ׃#
[21] Sem, tổ phụ của họ Hê-be và anh cả của Gia-phết, cũng có sanh con trai.
[21] And sons were also born to Shem (the older brother of Japheth), the father of all the sons of Eber.
[22] בְּנֵי שֵׁם עֵילָם וְאַשּׁוּר וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁד וְלוּד וַאֲרָם ׃#
[22] Con trai của Sem là Ê-lam, A-sự-rơ, A-bác-sát, Lút và A-ram.
[22] The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
[23] וּבְנֵי אֲרָם עוּץ וְחוּל וְגֶתֶר וָמַשׁ ׃#
[23] Con trai của A-ram là U-xơ, Hu-lơ, Ghê-te và Mách.
[23] The sons of Aram were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
[24] וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁד יָלַד אֶת־שָׁלַח וְשֶׁלַח יָלַד אֶת־עֵבֶר ׃#
[24] Còn A-bác-sát sanh Sê-lách; Sê-lách sanh Hê-be,
[24] Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.
[25] וּלְעֵבֶר יֻלַּד שְׁנֵי בָנִים שֵׁם הָאֶחָד פֶּלֶג כִּי בְיָמָיו נִפְלְגָה הָאָרֶץ וְשֵׁם אָחִיו יָקְטָן ׃#
[25] Hê-be sanh được hai con trai; tên của một người là Bê-léc, vì đất trong đời người đó đã chia ra; trên của người em là Giốc-tan.
[25] Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan.
[26] וְיָקְטָן יָלַד אֶת־אַלְמוֹדָד וְאֶת־שָׁלֶף וְאֶת־חֲצַרְמָוֶת וְאֶת־יָרַח ׃#
[26] Giốc-tan sanh A-mô-đát, Sê-lép, Ha-sa-ma-vết và Giê-rách,
[26] Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
[27] וְאֶת־הֲדוֹרָם וְאֶת־אוּזָל וְאֶת־דִּקְלָה ׃#
[27] Ha-đô-ram, U-xa, Ðiếc-la,
[27] Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
[28] וְאֶת־עוֹבָל וְאֶת־אֲבִימָאֵל וְאֶת־שְׁבָא ׃#
[28] Ô-banh, A-bi-ma-ên, Sê-ba,
[28] Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
[29] וְאֶת־אוֹפִר וְאֶת־חֲוִילָה וְאֶת־יוֹבָב כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יָקְטָן ׃#
[29] Ô-phia, Ha-vi-la và Giô-báp. Hết thảy các người đó là con trai của Giốc-tan.
[29] Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
[30] וַיְהִי מוֹשָׁבָם מִמֵּשָׁא בֹּאֲכָה סְפָרָה הַר הַקֶּדֶם ׃#
[30] Cõi đất của các người đó ở về phía Sê-pha, chạy từ Mê-sa cho đến núi Ðông phương.
[30] Their dwelling place was from Mesha all the way to Sephar in the eastern hills.
[31] אֵלֶּה בְנֵי־שֵׁם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לִלְשֹׁנֹתָם בְּאַרְצֹתָם לְגוֹיֵהֶם ׃#
[31] Ðó là con cháu của Sem, tùy theo họ hàng, tiếng nói, xứ và dân tộc của họ.
[31] These are the sons of Shem according to their families, according to their languages, by their lands, and according to their nations.
[32] אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי־נֹחַ לְתוֹלְדֹתָם בְּגוֹיֵהֶם וּמֵאֵלֶּה נִפְרְדוּ הַגּוֹיִם בָּאָרֶץ אַחַר הַמַּבּוּל ׃ פ#
[32] Ấy là các họ hàng của ba con trai Nô-ê tùy theo đời và dân tộc của họ; lại cũng do nơi họ mà các dân chia ra trên mặt đất sau cơn nước lụt.
[32] These are the families of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, by their nations, and from these the nations spread over the earth after the flood.
