[1] וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלַי קַח־לְךָ גִּלָּיוֹן גָּדוֹל וּכְתֹב עָלָיו בְּחֶרֶט אֱנוֹשׁ לְמַהֵר שָׁלָל חָשׁ בַּז ׃#
[1] Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng tôi rằng: Hãy lấy một cái bảng rộng và viết lên trên bằng bút loài người rằng: Ma-he-Sa-la-Hát-Bát.
[1] The LORD told me, “Take a large tablet and inscribe these words on it with an ordinary stylus: ‘Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.’
[2] וְאָעִידָה לִּי עֵדִים נֶאֱמָנִים אֵת אוּרִיָּה הַכֹּהֵן וְאֶת־זְכַרְיָהוּ בֶּן יְבֶרֶכְיָהוּ ׃#
[2] Tôi đem theo những kẻ làm chứng đáng tin, tức là U-ri, thầy tế lễ, và Xa-cha-ri, con trai của Giê-bê-rê-kia.
[2] Then I will summon as my reliable witnesses Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah.”
[3] וָאֶקְרַב אֶל־הַנְּבִיאָה וַתַּהַר וַתֵּלֶד בֵּן וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלַי קְרָא שְׁמוֹ מַהֵר שָׁלָל חָשׁ בַּז ׃#
[3] Ðoạn, tôi đến nhà nữ tiên tri; người chịu thai và sanh một con trai. Ðức Giê-hô-va bèn phán cùng tôi rằng: Hãy đặt tên nó là Ma-he-Sa-la-Hát-Bát
[3] I then had sexual relations with the prophetess; she conceived and gave birth to a son. The LORD told me, “Name him Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz,
[4] כִּי בְּטֶרֶם יֵדַע הַנַּעַר קְרֹא אָבִי וְאִמִּי יִשָּׂא אֶת־חֵיל דַּמֶּשֶׂק וְאֵת שְׁלַל שֹׁמְרוֹן לִפְנֵי מֶלֶךְ אַשּׁוּר ׃ ס#
[4] Vì, trước khi con trẻ biết kêu: Cha ơi! mẹ ơi! thì người ta sẽ cất lấy sự giàu có Ða-mách và của cướp Sa-ma-ri trước mặt vua A-si-ri.
[4] for before the child knows how to cry out, ‘My father’ or ‘My mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried off by the king of Assyria.”
[5] וַיֹּסֶף יְהוָה דַּבֵּר אֵלַי עוֹד לֵאמֹר ׃#
[5] Ðức Giê-hô-va lại phán cùng tôi rằng:
[5] The LORD spoke to me again:
[6] יַעַן כִּי מָאַס הָעָם הַזֶּה אֵת מֵי הַשִּׁלֹחַ הַהֹלְכִים לְאַט וּמְשׂוֹשׂ אֶת־רְצִין וּבֶן־רְמַלְיָהוּ ׃#
[6] Vì dân nầy đã khinh bỏ các dòng nước Si-lô-ê chảy dịu, và ưa thích Rê-xin cùng con trai của Rê-ma-lia.
[6] “These people have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and melt in fear over Rezin and the son of Remaliah.
[7] וְלָכֵן הִנֵּה אֲדֹנָי מַעֲלֶה עֲלֵיהֶם אֶת־מֵי הַנָּהָר הָעֲצוּמִים וְהָרַבִּים אֶת־מֶלֶךְ אַשּׁוּר וְאֶת־כָּל־כְּבוֹדוֹ וְעָלָה עַל־כָּל־אֲפִיקָיו וְהָלַךְ עַל־כָּל־גְּדוֹתָיו ׃#
[7] Vì cớ đó, nầy, Chúa sẽ khiến nước Sông mạnh và nhiều đến trên họ, tức là vua A-si-ri và cả oai vinh người; nó sẽ dấy lên khắp trên lòng sông, khỏa lên các bực;
[7] So look, the sovereign master is bringing up against them the turbulent and mighty waters of the Euphrates River — the king of Assyria and all his majestic power. It will reach flood stage and overflow its banks.
[8] וְחָלַף בִּיהוּדָה שָׁטַף וְעָבַר עַד־צַוָּאר יַגִּיעַ וְהָיָה מֻטּוֹת כְּנָפָיו מְלֹא רֹחַב־אַרְצְךָ עִמָּנוּ אֵל ׃ ס#
[8] chảy vào Giu-đa, tràn lan chảy xói, ngập cho đến cổ; hỡi Em-ma-nu-ên, nó sè cánh ra che cả xứ ngươi.
[8] It will spill into Judah, flooding and engulfing, as it reaches to the necks of its victims. He will spread his wings out over your entire land, O Immanuel.”
[9] רֹעוּ עַמִּים וָחֹתּוּ וְהַאֲזִינוּ כֹּל מֶרְחַקֵּי־אָרֶץ הִתְאַזְּרוּ וָחֹתּוּ הִתְאַזְּרוּ וָחֹתּוּ ׃#
[9] Hỡi các dân, hãy kêu la và bị tan nát! Hỡi các ngươi hết thảy, là dân các phương xa, hãy lắng tai! Hãy nịt lưng các ngươi, và bị tan nát!
[9] You will be broken, O nations; you will be shattered! Pay attention, all you distant lands of the earth! Get ready for battle, and you will be shattered! Get ready for battle, and you will be shattered!
[10] עֻצוּ עֵצָה וְתֻפָר דַּבְּרוּ דָבָר וְלֹא יָקוּם כִּי עִמָּנוּ אֵל ׃ ס#
[10] Hãy toan mưu cùng nhau, nó sẽ nên hư không; hãy nói, lời các ngươi sẽ không đứng, vì Ðức Chúa Trời ở cùng chúng ta.
[10] Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted! Issue your orders, but they will not be executed! For God is with us!
[11] כִּי כֹה אָמַר יְהוָה אֵלַי כְּחֶזְקַת הַיָּד וְיִסְּרֵנִי מִלֶּכֶת בְּדֶרֶךְ הָעָם־הַזֶּה לֵאמֹר ׃#
[11] Vì Ðức Giê-hô-va dùng tay mạnh phán cùng ta, và dạy ta đừng noi theo đường dân ấy,
[11] Indeed this is what the LORD told me. He took hold of me firmly and warned me not to act like these people:
[12] לֹא־תֹאמְרוּן קֶשֶׁר לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר־יֹאמַר הָעָם הַזֶּה קָשֶׁר וְאֶת־מוֹרָאוֹ לֹא־תִירְאוּ וְלֹא תַעֲרִיצוּ ׃#
[12] rằng: Khi dân nầy nói rằng: Kết đảng! thì các ngươi chớ nói rằng: Kết đảng! Chớ sợ điều nó sợ, và đừng kinh hãi.
[12] “Do not say, ‘Conspiracy,’ every time these people say the word. Don’t be afraid of what scares them; don’t be terrified.
[13] אֶת־יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אֹתוֹ תַקְדִּישׁוּ וְהוּא מוֹרַאֲכֶם וְהוּא מַעֲרִצְכֶם ׃#
[13] Hãy tôn Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân là thánh; các ngươi chỉ nên sợ Ngài và kinh hãi Ngài.
[13] You must recognize the authority of the LORD who commands armies. He is the one you must respect; he is the one you must fear.
[14] וְהָיָה לְמִקְדָּשׁ וּלְאֶבֶן נֶגֶף וּלְצוּר מִכְשׁוֹל לִשְׁנֵי בָתֵּי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְפַח וּלְמוֹקֵשׁ לְיוֹשֵׁב יְרוּשָׁלִָם ׃#
[14] Ngài sẽ là nơi thánh, nhưng cũng là hòn đá vấp ngã, vầng đó vướng mắc cho cả hai nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, và là bẫy cùng lưới cho dân cư thành Giê-ru-sa-lem vậy.
[14] He will become a sanctuary, but a stone that makes a person trip, and a rock that makes one stumble — to the two houses of Israel. He will become a trap and a snare to the residents of Jerusalem.
[15] וְכָשְׁלוּ בָם רַבִּים וְנָפְלוּ וְנִשְׁבָּרוּ וְנוֹקְשׁוּ וְנִלְכָּדוּ ׃ ס#
[15] Nhiều người trong bọn họ sẽ vấp chơn; sẽ té và giập nát; sẽ sa vào lưới và bị bắt.
[15] Many will stumble over the stone and the rock, and will fall and be seriously injured, and will be ensnared and captured.”
[16] צוֹר תְּעוּדָה חֲתוֹם תּוֹרָה בְּלִמֻּדָי ׃#
[16] Ngươi hãy gói lời chứng nầy, niêm phong luật pháp nầy trong môn đồ ta!
[16] Tie up the scroll as legal evidence, seal the official record of God’s instructions and give it to my followers.
[17] וְחִכִּיתִי לַיהוָה הַמַּסְתִּיר פָּנָיו מִבֵּית יַעֲקֹב וְקִוֵּיתִי־לוֹ ׃#
[17] Tôi trông đợi Ðức Giê-hô-va, là Ðấng ẩn mặt Ngài khỏi nhà Gia-cốp, tôi vẫn ngóng trông Ngài!
[17] I will wait patiently for the LORD, who has rejected the family of Jacob; I will wait for him.
[18] הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי וְהַיְלָדִים אֲשֶׁר נָתַן־לִי יְהוָה לְאֹתוֹת וּלְמוֹפְתִים בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל מֵעִם יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת הַשֹּׁכֵן בְּהַר צִיּוֹן ׃ ס#
[18] Nầy, tôi đây, với con cái mà Ðức Giê-hô-va đã ban cho tôi, là dấu và điềm trong Y-sơ-ra-ên, bởi Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân ngự trên núi Si-ôn.
[18] Look, I and the sons whom the LORD has given me are reminders and object lessons in Israel, sent from the LORD who commands armies, who lives on Mount Zion.
[19] וְכִי־יֹאמְרוּ אֲלֵיכֶם דִּרְשׁוּ אֶל־הָאֹבוֹת וְאֶל־הַיִּדְּעֹנִים הַמְצַפְצְפִים וְהַמַּהְגִּים הֲלוֹא־עַם אֶל־אֱלֹהָיו יִדְרֹשׁ בְּעַד הַחַיִּים אֶל־הַמֵּתִים ׃#
[19] Nếu có ai bảo các ngươi: Hãy cầu hỏi đồng bóng và thầy bói, là kẻ nói rúi rít líu lo, thì hãy đáp rằng: Một dân tộc há chẳng nên cầu hỏi Ðức Chúa Trời mình sao? Há lại vì người sống mà hỏi kẻ chết sao?
[19] They will say to you, “Seek oracles at the pits used to conjure up underworld spirits, from the magicians who chirp and mutter incantations. Should people not seek oracles from their gods, by asking the dead about the destiny of the living?”
[20] לְתוֹרָה וְלִתְעוּדָה אִם־לֹא יֹאמְרוּ כַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר אֵין־לוֹ שָׁחַר ׃#
[20] Hãy theo luật pháp và lời chứng! Nếu dân chẳng nói như vậy, chắc sẽ chẳng có rạng đông cho nó.
[20] Then you must recall the LORD’s instructions and the prophetic testimony of what would happen. Certainly they say such things because their minds are spiritually darkened.
[21] וְעָבַר בָּהּ נִקְשֶׁה וְרָעֵב וְהָיָה כִי־יִרְעַב וְהִתְקַצַּף וְקִלֵּל בְּמַלְכּוֹ וּבֵאלֹהָיו וּפָנָה לְמָעְלָה ׃#
[21] Nó sẽ đi lưu lạc trên đất, khốn khổ đói khát; trong cơn đói, nó bực mình, nguyền rủa vua và Ðức Chúa Trời mình. Nó sẽ ngước xem trên cao;
[21] They will pass through the land destitute and starving. Their hunger will make them angry, and they will curse their king and their God as they look upward.
[22] וְאֶל־אֶרֶץ יַבִּיט וְהִנֵּה צָרָה וַחֲשֵׁכָה מְעוּף צוּקָה וַאֲפֵלָה מְנֻדָּח ׃#
[22] rồi cúi xem dưới đất, chỉ thấy sự hoạn nạn và mờ mịt, chỉ thấy bóng buồn rầu: nó sẽ bị đuổi vào nơi tối tăm mờ mịt.
[22] When one looks out over the land, he sees distress and darkness, gloom and anxiety, darkness and people forced from the land.
[23] כִּי לֹא מוּעָף לַאֲשֶׁר מוּצָק לָהּ כָּעֵת הָרִאשׁוֹן הֵקַל אַרְצָה זְבֻלוּן וְאַרְצָה נַפְתָּלִי וְהָאַחֲרוֹן הִכְבִּיד דֶּרֶךְ הַיָּם עֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן גְּלִיל הַגּוֹיִם ׃#
[23] Nhưng, cho người đã chịu buồn rầu thì sẽ không có sự mờ mịt. Trong đời xưa Ðức Chúa Trời đã hạ đất Sa-bu-lôn và đất Nép-ta-li xuống; nhưng trong kỳ sau Ngài đã làm cho đất gần mé biển, tức là nơi bên kia sông Giô-đanh, trong xứ Ga-li-lê của dân ngoại, được vinh hiển.
[23] The gloom will be dispelled for those who were anxious. In earlier times he humiliated the land of Zebulun, and the land of Naphtali; but now he brings honor to the way of the sea, the region beyond the Jordan, and Galilee of the nations.
