[1] מִי־יִתְּנֵנִי בַמִּדְבָּר מְלוֹן אֹרְחִים וְאֶעֶזְבָה אֶת־עַמִּי וְאֵלְכָה מֵאִתָּם כִּי כֻלָּם מְנָאֲפִים עֲצֶרֶת בֹּגְדִים ׃#
[1] Ôi! ước gì tôi có một cái quán khách bộ hành trong đồng vắng! để tôi được bỏ dân ta mà đi xa khỏi họ; vì họ thảy điều là kẻ tà dâm, ấy là một bọn quỉ trá.
[1] I wish I had a lodging place in the desert where I could spend some time like a weary traveler. Then I would desert my people and walk away from them because they are all unfaithful to God, a congregation of people that has been disloyal to him.
[2] וַיַּדְרְכוּ אֶת־לְשׁוֹנָם קַשְׁתָּם שֶׁקֶר וְלֹא לֶאֱמוּנָה גָּבְרוּ בָאָרֶץ כִּי מֵרָעָה אֶל־רָעָה יָצָאוּ וְאֹתִי לֹא־יָדָעוּ נְאֻם־יְהוָה ׃ ס#
[2] Chúng nó giương lưỡi mình như cái cung, đặng phát lời dối trá ra. Chúng nó ở trong xứ là mạnh lớn, mà chẳng làm sự chơn thật; bởi chúng nó làm ác càng thêm ác, và chẳng nhìn biết ta, Ðức Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
[2] The LORD says, “These people are like soldiers who have readied their bows. Their tongues are always ready to shoot out lies. They have become powerful in the land, but they have not done so by honest means. Indeed, they do one evil thing after another and do not pay attention to me.
[3] אִישׁ מֵרֵעֵהוּ הִשָּׁמֵרוּ וְעַל־כָּל־אָח אַל־תִּבְטָחוּ כִּי כָל־אָח עָקוֹב יַעְקֹב וְכָל־רֵעַ רָכִיל יַהֲלֹךְ ׃#
[3] Ai nấy phải giữ gìn vì người lân cận mình, chớ tin cậy một người nào trong vòng anh em mình; vì mỗi người anh em sẽ lừa phỉnh anh em lắm, mỗi người lân cận đều đi dạo nói xấu.
[3] Everyone must be on his guard around his friends. He must not even trust any of his relatives. For every one of them will find some way to cheat him. And all of his friends will tell lies about him.
[4] וְאִישׁ בְּרֵעֵהוּ יְהָתֵלּוּ וֶאֱמֶת לֹא יְדַבֵּרוּ לִמְּדוּ לְשׁוֹנָם דַּבֶּר־שֶׁקֶר הַעֲוֵה נִלְאוּ ׃#
[4] Ai nấy gạt gẫm kẻ lân cận mình, chẳng nói sự chơn thật. Chúng nó luyện tập lưỡi mình mà nói dối, chăm chỉ làm điều ác.
[4] One friend deceives another and no one tells the truth. These people have trained themselves to tell lies. They do wrong and are unable to repent.
[5] שִׁבְתְּךָ בְּתוֹךְ מִרְמָה בְּמִרְמָה מֵאֲנוּ דַעַת־אוֹתִי נְאֻם־יְהוָה ׃ ס#
[5] Ðức Giê-hô-va phán: Ngươi ăn ở giữa sự dối trá; ấy cũng vì cớ sự dối trá mà chúng nó chẳng khứng nhìn biết ta.
[5] They do one act of violence after another, and one deceitful thing after another. They refuse to pay attention to me,” says the LORD.
[6] לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת הִנְנִי צוֹרְפָם וּבְחַנְתִּים כִּי־אֵיךְ אֶעֱשֶׂה מִפְּנֵי בַּת־עַמִּי ׃#
[6] Vậy nên Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân phán như vầy: Nầy, ta sẽ làm cho tan chảy và thử chúng nó; vì nếu chẳng vậy thì xử với con gái dân ta thể nào?
[6] Therefore the LORD who rules over all says, “I will now purify them in the fires of affliction and test them. The wickedness of my dear people has left me no choice. What else can I do?
[7] חֵץ שׁוֹחֵט לְשׁוֹנָם מִרְמָה דִבֵּר בְּפִיו שָׁלוֹם אֶת־רֵעֵהוּ יְדַבֵּר וּבְקִרְבּוֹ יָשִׂים אָרְבּוֹ ׃#
[7] Lưỡi chúng nó là tên độc, hay buông lời dối trá. Ngoài miệng thì chúc bình an cho kẻ lân cận mình, mà trong lòng thì gài bẫy.
[7] Their tongues are like deadly arrows. They are always telling lies. Friendly words for their neighbors come from their mouths. But their minds are thinking up ways to trap them.
[8] הַעַל־אֵלֶּה לֹא־אֶפְקָד־בָּם נְאֻם־יְהוָה אִם בְּגוֹי אֲשֶׁר־כָּזֶה לֹא תִתְנַקֵּם נַפְשִׁי ׃#
[8] Ðức Giê-hô-va phán: Ta há chẳng thăm phạt chúng nó về mọi điều ấy sao? Thần ta há chẳng trả thù một nước dường ấy sao?
[8] I will certainly punish them for doing such things!” says the LORD. “I will certainly bring retribution on such a nation as this!”
[9] ס עַל־הֶהָרִים אֶשָּׂא בְכִי וָנֶהִי וְעַל־נְאוֹת מִדְבָּר קִינָה כִּי נִצְּתוּ מִבְּלִי־אִישׁ עֹבֵר וְלֹא שָׁמְעוּ קוֹל מִקְנֶה מֵעוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וְעַד־בְּהֵמָה נָדְדוּ הָלָכוּ ׃#
[9] Ta sẽ khóc lóc thở than về các núi, sẽ xướng bài ca sầu não về nội cỏ nơi đồng vắng, vì thảy đều bị đốt cháy, đến nỗi chẳng còn ai đi qua đó nữa. Tại đó chẳng còn nghe tiếng bầy súc vật, chim trời và loài thú đều trốn đi cả rồi.
[9] I said, “I will weep and mourn for the grasslands on the mountains, I will sing a mournful song for the pastures in the wilderness because they are so scorched no one travels through them. The sound of livestock is no longer heard there. Even the birds in the sky and the wild animals in the fields have fled and are gone.”
[10] וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלִַם לְגַלִּים מְעוֹן תַּנִּים וְאֶת־עָרֵי יְהוּדָה אֶתֵּן שְׁמָמָה מִבְּלִי יוֹשֵׁב ׃ ס#
[10] Ta sẽ khiến Giê-ru-sa-lem thành đồng đổ nát, nơi ở của chó rừng; sẽ làm cho các thành của Giu-đa ra hoang vu không người ở.
[10] The LORD said, “I will make Jerusalem a heap of ruins. Jackals will make their home there. I will destroy the towns of Judah so that no one will be able to live in them.”
[11] מִי־הָאִישׁ הֶחָכָם וְיָבֵן אֶת־זֹאת וַאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר פִּי־יְהוָה אֵלָיו וְיַגִּדָהּ עַל־מָה אָבְדָה הָאָרֶץ נִצְּתָה כַמִּדְבָּר מִבְּלִי עֹבֵר ׃ ס#
[11] Ai là người khôn ngoan đặng hiểu những sự nầy? và miệng Ðức Giê-hô-va nói cùng ai, để người báo tin? vì làm sao xứ nầy bị diệt bị cháy như đồng vắng, đến nỗi không ai qua lại?
[11] I said, “Who is wise enough to understand why this has happened? Who has a word from the LORD that can explain it? Why does the land lie in ruins? Why is it as scorched as a desert through which no one travels?”
[12] וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה עַל־עָזְבָם אֶת־תּוֹרָתִי אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לִפְנֵיהֶם וְלֹא־שָׁמְעוּ בְקוֹלִי וְלֹא־הָלְכוּ בָהּ ׃#
[12] Ðức Giê-hô-va đáp rằng: Ấy là vì chúng nó bỏ luật pháp ta mà ta đã đặt cho; không vâng tiếng ta, và không bước theo.
[12] The LORD answered, “This has happened because these people have rejected my laws which I gave them. They have not obeyed me or followed those laws.
[13] וַיֵּלְכוּ אַחֲרֵי שְׁרִרוּת לִבָּם וְאַחֲרֵי הַבְּעָלִים אֲשֶׁר לִמְּדוּם אֲבוֹתָם ׃ ס#
[13] Nhưng chúng nó bước theo sự cứng cỏi của lòng mình, theo các thần Ba-anh mà tổ phụ mình đã dạy.
[13] Instead they have followed the stubborn inclinations of their own hearts. They have paid allegiance to the gods called Baal, as their fathers taught them to do.
[14] לָכֵן כֹּה־אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הִנְנִי מַאֲכִילָם אֶת־הָעָם הַזֶּה לַעֲנָה וְהִשְׁקִיתִים מֵי־רֹאשׁ ׃#
[14] Vậy nên, Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên, phán như vầy: Nầy, ta sẽ cho dân nầy ăn ngải cứu, và cho uống mật đắng.
[14] So then, listen to what I, the LORD God of Israel who rules over all, say. ‘I will make these people eat the bitter food of suffering and drink the poison water of judgment.
[15] וַהֲפִצוֹתִים בַּגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר לֹא יָדְעוּ הֵמָּה וַאֲבוֹתָם וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אַחֲרֵיהֶם אֶת־הַחֶרֶב עַד כַּלּוֹתִי אוֹתָם ׃ פ#
[15] Ta sẽ làm cho chúng nó tan lạc trong các dân tộc mà chúng nó và tổ phụ mình chưa từng biết; ta sẽ sai gươm đuổi theo, cho đến chừng nào đã diệt chúng nó.
[15] I will scatter them among nations that neither they nor their ancestors have known anything about. I will send people chasing after them with swords until I have destroyed them.’”
[16] כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת הִתְבּוֹנְנוּ וְקִרְאוּ לַמְקוֹנְנוֹת וּתְבוֹאֶינָה וְאֶל־הַחֲכָמוֹת שִׁלְחוּ וְתָבוֹאנָה ׃#
[16] Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân phán như vầy: Hãy lo gọi những đờn bà hay khóc mướn, cho chúng nó đến; hãy gọi những người đờn bà rất khéo, cho chúng nó đến.
[16] The LORD who rules over all told me to say to this people, “Take note of what I say. Call for the women who mourn for the dead! Summon those who are the most skilled at it!”
[17] וּתְמַהֵרְנָה וְתִשֶּׂנָה עָלֵינוּ נֶהִי וְתֵרַדְנָה עֵינֵינוּ דִּמְעָה וְעַפְעַפֵּינוּ יִזְּלוּ־מָיִם ׃#
[17] Chúng nó hãy vội vàng vì chúng ta rơi lụy, mí mắt chúng ta tràn nước ra!
[17] I said, “Indeed, let them come quickly and sing a song of mourning for us. Let them wail loudly until tears stream from our own eyes and our eyelids overflow with water.
[18] כִּי קוֹל נְהִי נִשְׁמַע מִצִּיּוֹן אֵיךְ שֻׁדָּדְנוּ בֹּשְׁנוּ מְאֹד כִּי־עָזַבְנוּ אָרֶץ כִּי הִשְׁלִיכוּ מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֵינוּ ׃ ס#
[18] Vả, có tiếng phàn nàn nghe từ Si-ôn, rằng: Chúng ta bị hủy phá dường nào! Chúng ta bị xấu hổ lắm, vì chúng ta bỏ đất; vì họ đã phá đổ chỗ ở chúng ta!
[18] For the sound of wailing is soon to be heard in Zion. They will wail, ‘We are utterly ruined! We are completely disgraced! For our houses have been torn down and we must leave our land.’”
[19] כִּי־שְׁמַעְנָה נָשִׁים דְּבַר־יְהוָה וְתִקַּח אָזְנְכֶם דְּבַר־פִּיו וְלַמֵּדְנָה בְנוֹתֵיכֶם נֶהִי וְאִשָּׁה רְעוּתָהּ קִינָה ׃#
[19] Hỡi các đờn bà, hãy nghe lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va, tai các ngươi hãy nghe lời miệng Ngài phán! Hãy dạy cho các con gái các ngươi bài ca vãn; mỗi người hãy dạy cho kẻ lân cận mình khóc than!
[19] I said, “So now, you wailing women, hear what the LORD says. Open your ears to the words from his mouth. Teach your daughters this mournful song, and each of you teach your neighbor this lament.
[20] כִּי־עָלָה מָוֶת בְּחַלּוֹנֵינוּ בָּא בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֵינוּ לְהַכְרִית עוֹלָל מִחוּץ בַּחוּרִים מֵרְחֹבוֹת ׃#
[20] Vì sự chết đã lên vào cửa sổ chúng ta, đã sấn vào trong cung chúng ta, giết con cái tại ngoài đường, và kẻ trai trẻ giữa chợ.
[20] ‘Death has climbed in through our windows. It has entered into our fortified houses. It has taken away our children who play in the streets. It has taken away our young men who gather in the city squares.’
[21] דַּבֵּר כֹּה נְאֻם־יְהוָה וְנָפְלָה נִבְלַת הָאָדָם כְּדֹמֶן עַל־פְּנֵי הַשָּׂדֶה וּכְעָמִיר מֵאַחֲרֵי הַקֹּצֵר וְאֵין מְאַסֵּף ׃ ס#
[21] Ngươi hãy bảo rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Thây người ta sẽ ngã xuống như phân đổ đồng ruộng, và như nắm lúa đổ ra sau lưng con gặt; chẳng ai sẽ lượm chúng nó lại!
[21] Tell your daughters and neighbors, ‘The LORD says, “The dead bodies of people will lie scattered everywhere like manure scattered on a field. They will lie scattered on the ground like grain that has been cut down but has not been gathered.”’”
[22] כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה אַל־יִתְהַלֵּל חָכָם בְּחָכְמָתוֹ וְאַל־יִתְהַלֵּל הַגִּבּוֹר בִּגְבוּרָתוֹ אַל־יִתְהַלֵּל עָשִׁיר בְּעָשְׁרוֹ ׃#
[22] Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Người khôn chớ khoe sự khôn mình; người mạnh chớ khoe sự mạnh mình; người giàu chớ khoe sự giàu mình.
[22] The LORD says, “Wise people should not boast that they are wise. Powerful people should not boast that they are powerful. Rich people should not boast that they are rich.
[23] כִּי אִם־בְּזֹאת יִתְהַלֵּל הַמִּתְהַלֵּל הַשְׂכֵּל וְיָדֹעַ אוֹתִי כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה עֹשֶׂה חֶסֶד מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה בָּאָרֶץ כִּי־בְאֵלֶּה חָפַצְתִּי נְאֻם־יְהוָה ׃ ס#
[23] Nhưng kẻ nào khoe, hãy khoe về trí khôn mình biết ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va, là Ðấng làm ra sự thương xót, chánh trực, và công bình trên đất; vì ta ưa thích những sự ấy, Ðức Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
[23] If people want to boast, they should boast about this: They should boast that they understand and know me. They should boast that they know and understand that I, the LORD, act out of faithfulness, fairness, and justice in the earth and that I desire people to do these things,” says the LORD.
[24] הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם־יְהוָה וּפָקַדְתִּי עַל־כָּל־מוּל בְּעָרְלָה ׃#
[24] Ðức Giê-hô-va phán: Nầy, ngày đến, bấy giờ ta sẽ phạt mọi kẻ chịu cắt bì mà lòng chưa cắt bì:
[24] The LORD says, “Watch out! The time is soon coming when I will punish all those who are circumcised only in the flesh.
[25] עַל־מִצְרַיִם וְעַל־יְהוּדָה וְעַל־אֱדוֹם וְעַל־בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן וְעַל־מוֹאָב וְעַל כָּל־קְצוּצֵי פֵאָה הַיֹּשְׁבִים בַּמִּדְבָּר כִּי כָל־הַגּוֹיִם עֲרֵלִים וְכָל־בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל עַרְלֵי־לֵב ׃ ס#
[25] tức là Ê-díp-tô, Giu-đa, Ê-đôm, con cháu Am-môn, Mô-áp, và hết thảy những dân cạo tóc màng tang và ở nơi đồng vắng. Vì mọi dân tộc đều không cắt bì, còn cả nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên chẳng cắt bì trong lòng.
[25] That is, I will punish the Egyptians, the Judeans, the Edomites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, and all the desert people who cut their hair short at the temples. I will do so because none of the people of those nations are really circumcised in the LORD’s sight. Moreover, none of the people of Israel are circumcised when it comes to their hearts.”
